So many of you have been faithful to ask about how we are doing and to inquire of the latest news regarding the treatment process. Thank you so much!!
We returned to the Lyme specialist today to review the last month of treatment and to review the results of our bloodwork. My test results confirmed the suspicion that I acquired more than just Lyme disease - it appears that I have 3 additional tick borne diseases. The doctor adjusted the treatment plan to hit the most important diseases first. I am actually grateful for one of the med changes as I was able to discontinue the med which led to nausea.
A new development in the situation is that bloodwork reveals that my husband may very likely have Lyme disease too. My doc only specializes in women and we are currently praying about and seeking the wisest option for my husband to receive a full clinical evaluation in this matter and, most likely, begin initial treatment as a precaution. Please join us in prayer that we will know God's leadership in the right medical professional for Michael and will know God's continued financial provision as we will both be undergoing treatment for a time.
All of this said, we continue to delight in God's GREAT GRACE during this journey as He encourages us through His Word and through His body. We love you all so much and are thankful for His great blessings through you.
